Diverter valves

Diverter valves

Overview:

  • Diverter valves and flow control valves are essential components in bulk solid handling systems. They are used to shut off flows, adjust flow speeds and change conveying directions of powders, pellets and granular bulk materials.
  • At EFM, an extensive range of flow control and diverter valves are available for handling dry bulk material in pneumatic conveying and gravity flow applications. In addition to standard production range, we also design and manufacture custom designed valves for wide range of applications.

Application Area:

  • Diverter valves are used to route granules, powders, or pellets in the pipeline with minimum degradation.

Salient Features:

  • Wide range of construction materials – To reduce corrosion or abrasion.
  • Heavy-duty construction – to increase life and reduce downtime.
  • Totally enclosed design – to eliminate dust or vapor emissions.
  • Custom seal design – to prevent material leakage.
  • Removable maintenance door – to access and maintain seals and gate blades.
  • Diverters can be controlled manually, with pneumatic actuators or electrical motors.

Industry:

  • including aggregate, cement, chemical, mining and wastewater treatment industries for controlling the flow of bulk materials.
